A Tropical Summer Drink Made with Real Fruit & No Artificial Flavors
If you’re a fan of the popular Mogu Mogu drinks, you’ll love this homemade version made with fresh ingredients and absolutely no preservatives. It’s fruity, hydrating, and has that satisfying chewy bite—just like the original, but better! Plus, the gorgeous pink hue comes naturally from beetroot. Perfect for cooling down on a hot summer day.
Ingredients:
-
150g fresh lychee (peeled and de-seeded)
-
Water from 2 tender coconuts (approx. 400–500 ml)
-
1 very small piece of beetroot (for natural color)
Step-by-Step Method:
Step 1: Prep the Lychee
Start by peeling and de-seeding all the lychees.
Finely chop 4–5 lychees and set them aside—this is what gives the drink that fun, chewy texture we all love in Mogu Mogu.
Step 2: Blend the Juice
In a blender, combine the remaining lychees, coconut water, and a tiny piece of beetroot.
Blend until smooth and vibrant in color. The beetroot will naturally tint the drink a soft pink without altering the taste.
Step 3: Assemble the Drink
Place a few ice cubes in a glass and add the chopped lychees first.
Strain the blended juice directly into the glass for a smooth finish.
Step 4: Serve & Sip
Stir gently and enjoy your homemade Lychee Mogu Mogu—refreshing, fruity, and full of tropical vibes!
Quick Tips:
-
Use super fresh coconut water for the best flavor.
-
You can refrigerate the juice for 1–2 hours before serving for an extra-chilled experience.
