Ingredients
-
100 g Ragi flour (Finger millet flour)
-
45 g Honey
-
25 g Melted ghee
-
2 tbsp Cashew powder
-
¼ tsp Cardamom powder
-
¼ tsp Baking powder
-
A pinch of salt
-
1 tsp Milk (only if needed to bind the dough)
Method
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (OTG mode: both rods on).
-
Sieve together ragi flour, cashew powder, baking powder, cardamom powder, and salt.
-
Add honey and melted ghee to the dry mix. Combine gently into a soft dough.
-
If the dough feels dry, add milk a teaspoon at a time — just enough to bind it.
-
Roll out the dough into a thin sheet and cut into even sticks using a knife or cookie cutter.
-
Arrange the sticks on a parchment-lined baking tray.
-
Bake at 180°C for 12–15 minutes, or until crisp and lightly golden.
-
Cool completely before storing in an airtight jar.
Tips
-
Replace cashew powder with almond or walnut powder for variation.
-
Add a drizzle of dark chocolate for a fun, kid-friendly twist.
-
Store in an airtight container for up to 10 days in a cool, dry place.
